Endangered baby penguin on the show in Seaworld

Visitors to SeaWorld San Diego may meet Pearl, an endangered young Emperor penguin who is three months old and doing well. Pearl is one of three newborn Emperor penguins fostered by zoologists throughout the globe and the only one in the US. Melissa Ramsey, Seaworld's Supervisor of Birds, said that guests will meet Pearl's VIP, tiny Pearl. Pearl is being housed in a warming cage while her adult feathers develop. Seaworld is celebrating the arrival of the rare Pearl penguin and hopes the colony will continue reproducing and producing more Pearls. Locals and tourists are all welcome to visit.
